Wiener Opernsommer
Website for the Wiener Opernsommer, Vienna’s open-air opera at the Heumarkt opera arena, with production pages, visitor information and a link to the ticket shop.

The challenge
An opera festival sells tickets in several price categories to Viennese audiences, international visitors, tour groups and schools. The website has to present the current production, promote the next season and answer visit questions in advance.
The solution
Navigation is organised by production: the current season with cast, leading team, orchestra and chorus sits next to a preview of the coming year. A “Your visit” section brings together the FAQ, directions with a Google Maps link, tour groups and accommodation. Price categories are shown openly and lead to the ticket shop, while vouchers, concessions and “Opera for All” have their own links. Two languages, a newsletter and an accessibility widget complete the site.
The outcome
Opera-goers find cast, dates and prices in one place and go straight on to buy tickets. Tour groups and schools have dedicated information pages.
