The challenge
An open-air show runs on atmosphere, but its website first has to answer practical questions: when are the shows, what does a ticket cost and how do you get there? It also has to work for international guests and for people with different accessibility needs.
The solution
The main navigation is limited to four items: prices, show dates, directions and FAQ. A prominent ticket button leads to booking through an external ticketing system on its own subdomain. A recap video and an image gallery convey the atmosphere, and a newsletter sign-up keeps interested visitors informed. Content is available in German and English, and an accessibility tool offers modes for visual impairment and epilepsy, among others.
The outcome
Visitors find dates, prices and travel information straight away and reach the ticket shop in a few clicks. Between seasons, the website remains the central place for news about the show.
