The challenge
A transport project of this scale affects many groups at once: local residents, commuters, leisure visitors and the press. The website had to answer questions about the route, the environment and traffic in a factual way and be easy to use for everyone.
The solution
Navigation is organised by topic: the cable car, residents’ information, environment, traffic, recreation, tourism and technical data. Each station, from the valley station at Heiligenstadt to the top station on the Kahlenberg, is described with its connections and purpose. An FAQ section and a dedicated press area cover recurring questions. An accessibility widget with profiles for low vision, cognitive impairments and screen readers makes the content easier to reach.
The outcome
Visitors find facts on the route, the stations and the project’s impact in one place, organised by what they want to know. Residents and journalists each have their own entry point.
